This is what was in the Poughkeepsie Journal Today.

A City of Poughkeepsie man is due in court after he allegedly led
police on a 15-minute chase during which he hit a police car, and
almost hit other cars and a bicycle, authorities said.
Police charged Jerry Sykes, 37, with first-degree reckless
endangerment, a felony, third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police
officer, reckless driving, and aggravated unlicensed operation,
misdemeanors, and failure to comply, a violation, the Dutchess County
Sheriff’s office said.
The Sheriff's Office said the investigation is continuing and more
charges are pending.
The chase began Sunday at 1:25 a.m. when a deputy sheriff tried to
stop Sykes on Route 44 in the Town of Poughkeepsie for failing to use
a traffic signal, police said.
A pursuit ensued and continued west on Route 44 into the City of
Poughkeepsie. Other deputies, state police and city police came to
assist the deputy. The chase continued for about 15 minutes, through
city and town streets, until Skyes' car bottomed out on Catharine
Street and began to leak fluids around 1:40 p.m., police said.
Officers took him into custody. Sykes was arraigned in city court, and
sent to Dutchess County Jail. Bail was set at $20,000 or $40,000 bond.
Police are asking anyone who was almost struck by Sykes' car to call
the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office at 845-486-3800 and ask to speak
with Capt. John Watterson.
Sykes is due in town court July 16 at 3 p.m. and city court July 31 at
9 a.m
