MICA- WCD Case Competition on Gender Inclusivity- 2014:
For Professionals, Academics and Students
MICA and Gender Resource Centre (GRC) of Women and Child Department, Government of Gujarat (WCD) announce MICA-WCD case writing competition on Gender Inclusivity- 2014.
This is an opportunity for case-writers to showcase the successful efforts of an organization (a government department, public/private enterprise, academic institution, non-governmental organization (NGO) or a hospital) towards promoting gender inclusivity and harassment free work environment for women. It will also provide them a forum to share an individual’s, a group’s or an organization’s ways for prevention, prohibition and redressal of complaints of gender discrimination/sexual harassment.
The cases are invited in three categories: 1) postgraduate/doctoral students, 2) academics and professionals and 3) An individual woman employee of any organization, who has combated sexual harassment in any form.
Awards:
Top two cases from each of the three categories i.e. students; academicians/ professionals as well as individual woman employee of any organization, who has combated sexual harassment in any form, will be awarded with cash prize of Rs. 12000 and Rs. 8000. Top fifteen entries (including six award winning entries) will be published in the form of a book.
