Hi,

I was going to create this topic to report an issue without a workaround, but it turns out there is a workaround, so just leaving this one here as an FYI.

When I opened the paid version of the app for the first time, the white view the blocks the lite version showed up (see attachment) and I couldn't dismiss it. Hard-resetting the phone (i.e.: home + lock buttons) resolved the issue.

I had used the lite version previously on the same phone.

I had previously tried without success: killing the app, deleting and reinstalling, turning phone off and back on.
iPhone 6s
iOS 10.2 (14C92)

Regards,
Gustavo

Actually, the white cover view comes back after you try to enter a hand range.

Could I please:

1) have a refund as the app is unusable, and;
2) be notified if/when a fix is applied so that I can repurchase the app?

Thanks,
Gustavo

Hi Gustavo,

Sorry to hear about the problem with the app. I’ve just emailed the software developer (an old friend of mine who now lives on the other side of the world to me!) to see if he can process a refund (not sure whether he is able to do that thru the developer account, or whether you do that thru Apple... which I know I’ve done in the past).

I can only assume that a recent update to iOS must have created an issue with the app because we haven’t made any changes at our end. Will let you know!

Cheers, Andy

Thanks for that, Andy.

I followed the steps I found online and they lead me to this group. Let me know how your friend goes.

Hi Gustavo,

Sorry you’ve had a problem… to be honest I haven’t looked at this app for quite a while.

I’m not able to provide you with a refund directly… Apple doesn’t provide any kind of identification of buyers and thus we can’t refund anyone.  You, however, can claim a refund through iTunes.  Lots of how-tos if you Google it, but here is one example: http://ioshacker.com/how-to/get-refund-app-purchased-app-store

Good luck, and once again, my apologies.

Mark
