June 24, 2022 OSHA General Industry Trainings for YouthBuild Instructors This infosheet providesan overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) General Industry for DOL YouthBuild grantees that offer Construction Plus (C+) pathways. This overview includes information on how YouthBuild instructors can become certified as OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainers, authorizing them to facilitate either the OSHA 10- or 30-hour General Industry safety training to YouthBuild participants.

June 21, 2022 Pre-New Grantee Orientation Webcasts This series of webcasts provides a basis of understanding for your grant award, the grant planning process, the YouthBuild model, financial and administrative requirements, and construction and Construction Plus (webcast coming soon). New grantees should watch these webcasts prior to attending the New Grantee Orientation (NGO).

June 30, 2022 Navigating the Workforce System Toolkit A Toolkit to Help YouthBuild Program Navigate Workforce Systems Understanding and accessing workforce systems is critical for YouthBuild programs to build new employer partnerships, find additional workforce funding opportunities, and create opportunities for participants to access jobs, apprenticeships, and training.This toolkit offers an overview of workforce systems and includes links to additional resources so you can learn how to better navigate and partner with the systems.

June 30, 2022 Pre-NGO Webcast Series: Construction Plus Framework YouthBuild grantees have been incorporating Construction Plus programming since 2013, allowing training in additional in-demand industries beyond construction.
