When Burst compiles code for the Standalone Player, with the exception of iOS, it will create a single dynamic library and place it into the standard plugins folder for that particular player type. e.g. on Windows, it is in the path Data/Plugins/lib_burst_generated.dll
This library is loaded by the Job system runtime the first time a Burst compiled method is invoked.
Prior to Unity 2019.1, the settings for AOT compilation are shared with the Jobs Menu.
In later Unity versions (2019.1 and beyond), the settings for AOT compilation are configured via Burst AOT Settings.
When a project uses AOT compilation, you can control Burst behavior using the Burst AOT Settings section of the Project Settings window. The AOT settings override the Burst settings on the Jobs menu when you make a standalone build of your project.
CPU Architecture is currently only supported for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Burst will generate a Standalone Player that supports the CPU architectures you have selected. A special dispatch is generated into the module, so that the code generated will detect the CPU being used and select the appropriate CPU architecture at runtime.
Burst compilation for desktop platforms (macOS, Linux, Windows) no longer requires external toolchain support when building a Standalone Player (since Burst 1.3.0-preview.1). This should work out of the box, but can be disabled in Burst AOT Settings if needed.
If compiling for a non desktop platform, or you have disabled cross compilation support, then Burst compilation requires specific platform compilation tools (similar to IL2CPP), the below table can be used to determine the current level of support for AOT compilation.
When Burst compiles for multiple targets during an AOT build, it has to do seperate compilations underneath to support this. For example, if you were compiling for X64_SSE2 and X64_SSE4, the compiler will have to do two separate compilations underneath to generate code for each of the targets you choose.
The standalone player provides a way for you to use the ARIA Player without the need to use a host program. Once you set up MIDI and audio, use the standalone player to load and play back MIDI files, or record an audio file of the performance.
On your computer, find and open ARIA Player x64.exe for the 64-bit standalone player, or ARIA Player.exe for the 32-bit standalone player. A default installation of the standalone player puts these files in C:\Program Files\Garritan\ARIA Player. If you've installed a desktop shortcut, double-click the icon on your desktop, or, find the shortcut to the standalone player located in your Windows Start menu in the Garritan ARIA Player folder. The standalone player appears.
On your computer, find and open ARIA Player. A default installation of the standalone player puts this file in your Applications folder (Macintosh HD/Applications). Double-click the ARIA Player program and the standalone player appears.
When using the standalone player, set up MIDI and audio preferences so you can hear the instrument and use your MIDI controllerAny device, such as a piano keyboard or wind instrument, that transmits performance information as MIDI data. The ARIA Player can use these devices for live playback and control.. Setting up your preferences includes selections for MIDI input devices, audio device and driver, audio output, sample rate, and buffer size.
Only available MIDI input devices are displayed. If you're not seeing a device, you may need to turn the device on or install a driver from the device manufacturer, and then relaunch the standalone player.
The buffer size is an amount of incoming audio information that your computer stores in RAM to help maintain a continuous stream of audio. A higher buffer size results in more time between pressing a key, and hearing the sound through your speakers.
From the File menu on either Windows or Mac, you can save your current ARIA Player settings into a .ARIA ensemble file that you can recall later, or, you can save an ensemble that determines the default settings that load when you open the standalone player.
I have the latest version of Adobe Animate installed and with it comes the Standalone flash player (projector player) version 35.0.0.1, i.e. this file FlashPlayer.exe which is inside the "Players" folder in the following path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate 2022\Players\Release
When I open a swf file using the said projector player, I get a warning message saying "Your Adobe Flash Player version is too old, there may be security risks. It is recommended to update to the latest version."
i have the same issue - which is annoying, because it is a standalone app running in our clients showroom. it auto-starts in the morning and displays this message the day until someone clicks it manually...
A shot in the dark, but my best guess is that this issue happens because Adobe is redirecting all links related to Flash Player to the We have retired Flash. page ( -of-life-alternative.html). So everytime a standalone projector is opened, it tries to check for updates but the links it may use internally are now broken and that's why that pop-up is displayed. Again, just a guess.
Hi!
I am one of the few(?) that still uses Squeezebox at home.
Squeezebox is still in active development because of open source and I love the concept and hardware for it. Now it is time to give something back
I have never created an plugin for HA so this is my first. I took the great Spotify connect addon and created the Squeezelite standalone addon.
Note: The plugin does not install Squeezebox server you have to run that somewhere else. Squeezebox server usually runs on a machine that contains all your music, usually that is not your HA-hardware
Perhaps something to do with ownership and permissions while installing? What I do notice, is that I have other add-ons installed that show their directories in the folder /share on root. So perhaps it needs to install and direct there? Not all addons have a directory there, but I thought perhaps this info is of use.
I contacted Ralph Irving (author of picoreplayer) and active developer for Squeezelite. He sent me an aarch64 version he use in his distribution.
Please try this version: -addons/archive/v1.29b.zip
Edit: I have been studying the difference between ARM versions and I suspect that armv6hf (that usually work in armv7) is not compatible for the aarch64 framework because of clean 64-bit system. Looking forward to your feedback.
Does anybody else hate this app as much as I do? I would love to have the one I used to install on XP and Windows 7. It was so compact and complete. Seems like more and more programs are detoriating rather than getting better. Oh well.... Just venting.
My main issue, though, is that it asks me to signon anew each time I open the app. How do I get it to stop doing this? I used to be able to sign into my account once (in the app) and not have to do so subsequently. TIA.
Using Pandora since 2009. Reset system and account. Used to have a small 3x4 inch black box with album cover and song title. Now its a window and only shrinks to bigger 5 or 6 inch rectangle with 50% wasted blank space. Can I recover or get that older app thing? Using Win10 and have the new multi-colored Quick-start P. (Used to be a tiny white box with a blue P).
Outstanding idea, bring back the old, minimalist player screen. Don't try and cram all the bells and whistles into what was designed as a simple station player with minimal screen presence. Stick with the KISS principle of design. Make the old PandoraOne app a user installation choice. The new desktop app doesn't do much more than the web page and a shortcut could do.
Good morning, because there are many of us who have expressed a return of the desktop player I wanted to ask everyone a question. If it was available as an option for a small added fee would any of you opt to take advantage of that? I would because the player was the way I found new music and new artists. I never open the page that is available now. I always just go to Pandora on my iPhone and go to my collection. I never usually explore unless there is an artist I have heard on Instagram. Lets start a discussion on this if any or would opt to pay more to have the desktop player. I have decided that I would, but not more than $5. Thanks, Ollie
It sounds like you're referring to the Pandora One Desktop application that was available in the past. We no longer support that compact desktop player. However, we now have a Pandora Desktop app for MAC and Windows computers.
What happened to the old Pandora one desktop app? This new one that you have to download from the window store S U C K S. The whole point of a desktop app was to use less memory then having it play in your web browser. All this new app is, is a smaller web browser window that still takes 200+ mb . Thank god I was able to find my old desk stop app that only takes 53mb. This is new update is dumb, bring back the old player!
Had a little snafu the other day and after a bunch of attempts i relented and reinstalled windows keeping the old files. Fixed the snafu, i have sound again, but i lost my old Pandora One app, the one that was built on Adobe Air. I know there is the win store version but its huge (for no reason) and blue... So far i haven't managed to find it on the internet anymore. Anyone got a link to the good old stuff?
