Subject: foreshore precient action group

Hi
Paul Acton has offered to be the front line person and spokesperson so we are having the first meeting of the Foreshore Precient User's Group (FPUG) next Sunday 16th March at 2.30 pm at the Life Saving Club. It will be about a 1 hour get together.

Please let anyone else you know who uses the beach to come along. We have a range of topics to raise with the council and hope a collective response will result in positive responses.

Topics include access, fugitive sand, damage to the beach - have a look at the rocks that are now exposed, sustainability eg use of Murray water etc, traffic management and any other points residents would like to raise.

We aren't using the media at this stage as we want to take this in an orderly manner and believe we will get the best results.

We are hoping residents who use the foreshore for any purpose - recreational, coffee/meal breaks, walking etc will join us so it isn't just the foreshore residents.

Please pass this onto your network.

If they have queries they can contact me.

Annette
