Dear friends
Conservation SA has now moved into our exciting new community space The Joinery in the heart of the bustling Central Market precinct (in the old bus station at 111 Franklin Street).
Our next job is to complete the large community meeting space in the ground floor and turn the outdoors into a beautiful garden, with veggies, chooks, a bike repair workshop, kids' play equipment and maybe even our very own bee hive!
This space will be for the community, by the community, and we need YOUR help to bring the dream to life.
We want to build a core team of volunteers to make The Joinery an open, welcoming place all through the week.
To help us with this, we need a committed volunteer for the role of our 'volunteer coordinator'.
Are you a well-organised person with excellent people skills, a commitment to environmental sustainability and a minimum of one day a week available to volunteer? Experience recruiting or managing staff/volunteers would be a bonus.
The volunteer role would involve working with our staff to assess volunteer needs, then recruiting volunteers and managing their input on a weekly basis.
If you think you are the person for this vital volunteer opportunity, please get in touch with us by Thursday 5th March with some information about your skills and background. Please email volu...@conservationsa.org.au. And if you know of someone else you think would be perfect for this volunteer role, please forward this email on to them.
Many thanks!
The team at Conservation SA
