Subject: Public comments sought on Port Spencer proposal's environmental impacts

Fellow ocean lovers,

I'm writing to encourage you to consider the whales, fairy terns and penguins of Lipson Cove, Spencer Gulf and write a comment to Centrex Metals in response to their plans to construct a new iron ore port and a dedicated desalination plant adjacent to the long-standing Lipson Island Conservation Park.

To my friends in the media: this is a valuable opportunity for South Australia's to express their concerns or support for the project. I would be happy to speak about this should you consider it newsworthy.

Instructions for submitting your public comment (due by COB Friday) are at the end of the blog post.

The marine life of Spencer Gulf needs your support. Please circulate this freely across your networks. I am also available for comment or interview on 0411 039 592. For print media, relevant photographs can be provided upon request.

Best,

Dan Monceaux
Director, Cuttlefish Country
