Pt Chev Sailing update 8th Feb. 2026

Forecast for this Sunday 8^th Feb. 2026 9-16 knots SSW

Race start ~ 12:00 hours.

 

Short of duty crew being Waitangi weekend.

Two questions:

1.       Can you let me know if you intend to race and

2.       If not sailing, can you, help man the rescue boats?

 

Call for Duty;

Any Senior member who is not involved in Learn to Sail programs or an Officer of the Club,

is required to do ~one duty in the 2026 calendar year.

Shortly, you should receive an E-mail, let me know if you qualify and did not.

And vice/versa.

 

As is usual, you can nominate a day or days which suit, and I will try and accommodate.

And if you are not sailing in the Auckland Zephyr /Pt Chev Club champs at Pt Chev on the –

7^th and 8^th March and would like to volunteer to help, please let me know.

Otherwise, it’s lucky dip.
