Episode Itachi Vs Sasuke

Thisis a "what if" situation. Like my "Naruto, Killer Bee, Guy and Kakashi vs. Kabuto" thread ( -7/naruto-killer-bee-guy-and-kakashi-vs-kabuto-1482934/?messageId=10023440#js-message-11), the scenario is modified from what actually happened in the anime. After Naruto, Killer Bee, and Itachi defeated Nagato, Itachi (for some odd reason) went toward the battlefield that Madara was on. During his journey he came across Sasuke and as they traveled they sensed an Uchiha's chakra. As they got closer and closer they found more and more bodies. Eventually they stumble upon the five kage fighting Madara Uchiha. Itachi and Sasuke come to aid them but since they were listed as S-ranked criminals they don't exactly receive a warm welcome. Itachi gives a speech about how the enemy of my enemy is my friend and that his and Sasuke's common interests are shared with the Shinobi alliance and that they are there to help. Seeing that there isn't much of a choice, the Kage trust and believe them and a new alliance is formed. However, Itachi insists that he and Sasuke be the ones to take down Madara since they are both Uchiha's and the best ones available to take him down. The Kages leave and pursue a different enemy. Madara wins both rounds. Itachi is on the same level as Jiraiya, who is no where near Hashirama level. Sasuke is just an extra, and is almost completely useless in the second fight without Itachi's eyes.

@noone301994: you do realize he summoned a full power kyuubi and still summoned susanoo while fighting Hashirama right. they fought from night to day. Madara can tell if Itachi is in a clone just by looking at it. Madara can make wood clones and a susanoo army. he toyed with the alliance and the 5 kages. Madara>>>>Itachi in Chakra

In todays manga chapter, the entire shinobi alliance agreed that Madara and Hashirama are on a completely different level than everyone else. Itachi is pretty much a prep god, if he had prep time he could probably beat Madara, but since he does not Madara wins because he is more skilled. Sasuke is kinda irrelevant, everything he does Madara will see it coming, and have a counter for it. BTW its a good thing Obito became the jinchuuriki, if Madara got it everyone would have been dead 3 chapters ago.

Making it hard for my boy Itachi in this one. I love the guy to death, greatest shinobi in the manga, but he just can't win this one. Madara (edo tensei) in round one is almost a warm up. You allowed sasuke and Itachi to pick up where 5 kages left off getting thraxed as if they were better suited. Madara is an animal, though someone made a solid point about the totsuka blade being able to seal the deal. I just don't know if Madara will go down that simply. Round 2 makes it more feasible for the brothers to win, but I still doubt they do. No senju blood or rinnegan, and in flesh, their attacks would actually do damage on Madara. Yes sasuke is almost a non factor to Madara, but I find it hard for the combined intelligence/assault of Itachi and Sasuke to just be overlooked. They will get theirs, and they will land solid strikes, but in the end Madara will be the closer. Spars with the God of Shinobi, and has a "trump card" for even Juubito. His power level is on another scale and it's clear. Planetary threat level.

@soothing_sounds: Maybe you're right. But I'd say he's planetary. The man can summon and manipulate meteors (vary in size AND quantity), control and manipulation of greenlife and forestry and fire, as well as gravity manipulation with the rinnegan. And to solidify it, rinnegan users are able to execute the jutsu planetary devastation (and that's literal). I think all that constitues as planetary threat level.

@xlab3000: I am not refuting that Madara is superior to Itachi in every way (genjutsu is debatable), if I didn't think he was inferior to Madara I wouldn't have put Sasuke in there, however, how can this character take out an edo tensei? Itachi could seal him away with his totsuka blade. But how could Madara permanently beat Itachi?

@odinsonnn: Only thing that's really planetary is their moon jutsu, and that's a two-three person type of thing with like 10 years of prep. Meteors are impressive, but he still hasn't left the country with them. There's also the fact that chakra(while he has a lot of it) is still limited when not in Edo Tensei form. When there's a very big limit like that(it's clear, cut, and can kill you), you can't really obtain that title. I honestly think he's just country level, and maybe continental level threat. That's not taking into account his durability, while his techniques and protection of himself is off the charts, his base durability is very weak compared to planetary threats. He can send down meteors all he wants, but if destroying one village is a challenge then he's not planetary.

@xlab3000: Well his susano'o has the Yata mirror so the durability isn't that far from Madara's. I meant does Madara have any jutsu that could seal Itachi away? Because that's the only way to defeat an edo tensei. He can destroy the body of Itachi all he wants but at the end of the day Itachi could seal him away but I don't think Madara can (I'm not sure I could be wrong).

Madara didn't want to destroy the leaf, he was concerned of the balance of power between the senju/uchiha. It would not be difficult for Madara to take out the leaf's relatively primitive infrastructure, it is a matter of motives. Pain destroyed the village with one jutsu (not that difficult).

While Madara hasn't displayed actually threatening the planet, and considering that his form is flesh (in round 2 [which still doesn't affect his scale]), given his capacity (not to mention unlimited chakra/rinnegan/senju cells in round 1) he is worthy of being deemed a planetary threat, feel me?

@odinsonnn: Hmmm alright, i feel you. I think Edo Tensei version of him is definitely a possible planetary threat. But while in his flesh, his limits (chakra & durability) probably prevent him from being at that level.

Non Edo Madara doesn't seem to use Perfect Susanoo in character, and will likely summon Kyuubi to help....which will be his down fall. Itachi will merely take control of Kyuubi with genjutsu and turn him against Madara. Also Itachi is faster, better at Taijutsu, Madara is STILL susceptible to genjutsu until proven otherwise and a last minute Totsuka can and will seal him. Not to mention Izanami.

@veravin: Based on how Itachi handled Nagato I feel like he has knowledge on the Rinnegen and it's powers, plus he is really good at analyzing problems and jutsu. He could warn Sasuke of what to watch out for when it comes to the Rinnegen. With Izanagi he could just put Madara in a loop until he accepts that Hashirama won't ever want to be his boyfriend :P

I can seriously see the brothers working together to land a totsuka hit on madara. He's faster than either of them, and has a huge edge in raw power, as well as perhaps the third strongest summoning in the series (After Juubi and
