Am i the only one who thinks that the mobile version of DBD has A LOT of skins that actually have unique-cool designs compared to the base game? why can't we also get them in the PC version? I know that we're getting 2 survivor & 2 killer skins in the future, but i wish we had more than that and earlier, or at the same time as the mobile version gets it to make it fair. like holy moly, after seeing all those skins i was just shocked at how good they are. not all of them but like more than a half of them, here's the best examples that just prove it:

Christ...this spirit design is the best one out of all character skins. THIS is the one i'd like to see the most in the real DBD version, and i'm saying all this as someone who hates playing as or against her. It's just too good. The details and colors are super cool, everything fits perfectly. BHVR please add this someday!

As an ex-trickster main i'd also really love to see this in the game. Of course, he already has a lot of good skins but this one would look the best out of all. I really like the halloween/scarecrow makeup & outfit. Also looks scary.

These are the ones that i've just found & are also the latest ones that they've got...the things i'd do for that mikaela skin. all of these summer-themed outfits are so cool compared to the ones we have. i'm not saying that we have "trash" ones, i like them too actually but the mobile ones are definitely winning, in my opinion. yes, they're too "bright" making it easier to get noticed by the killer but that doesn't change the fact they all look very good and would be a good idea to get added into the game. I bet everyone would buy these, making it better for the creators themselves.

Mobile is a gacha system. Of course, they are gonna focus more on cosmetics rather than gameplay mechanics to get more money. And we shouldnt be surprised that they favor and give more new skins to female survivors than male.

We do also get some good ones from time to time, but they do really shine only upon being matched with other pieces from other outfits.. I think. The sets just shouldn't have been a thing, because .. Why..

I genuinely do not want any of the mobile skins in the main game, especially not any of the Survivor ones, however since they said they would bring some in, albeit not a 1:1 version of them, i hope they bring as few as possible into the main game.

i think they just do not have enough artists/3d modellers to port skins from mobile, while also making other skins+new chapter+rift skins. If they stop making new skins and just port them from mobile, lots of people will surely rage.

Yeah, that could be problematic in a way, as the character is supposed to remain themself without being somebody else.. Unless we're talking about complete sets and entirely different characters, like Hulk, J. Byers, C. Redfield, (...). Cosplaying doesn't change and shouldn't change the character, but should give you a feeling of looking like a different person. Looking, so animations and everything shall remain the same.

Now for the mobile version, the premise is entirely the same and the same characters are available. An upside of the mobile version is that it is free, with options to buy certain DLC of the licensed killers (ie Michael Myers) as well as buy auric cells for cosmetics which you can also do in the PC and console versions.

Now for gameplay and controls themselves, I have to say I hated it. From having to run, then walk, and then crouch walk, and then be able to hope windows and pallets, repair gens, activate perks, and so much more it is just too much for a mobile game in my opinion. The sensitivity is also wild and to me so hard to control. You can adjust it, but it was just insanely floaty and weird to me.

On release in 2016, Dead By Daylight was an exciting prospect; an asynchronous multiplayer game where four players would face off against one monstrous, player-controlled killer. It was an idea that had been messed around with for a while, mostly in the form of player-made modes like Halo or COD's 'Michael Myers', but Behaviour Interactive was, to my memory, one of the first to build a whole title around that core, undeniably exciting premise.

Three years later, after making its way to almost every gaming platform under the sun, we finally have Dead By Daylight for mobile. It's free to play, available for both iOS and Android, and, for me, bordering on being unplayable.

As the survivors, you're tasked with escaping the level. You can do this by either powering generators to open the main gate or by surviving long enough to uncover a secret hatch. The killer's job is to stop this from happening, take down as many humans as possible, and maybe stick them on a hook to then be sacrificed to some sort of tendrilled demon from above.

I'll get this out of the way early and say that the extent to which the new free-to-play economy impacts progression is something we'll only be able to nail down after many more hours of play. For now, I'll say that it does feel a little grindy, with an obvious push towards getting you to invest in some premium currency. My concerns with the port are more immediate, more deeply rooted than something that could later be altered in straightforward patches.

For starters, Dead By Daylight was never a conventionally good looking game, but it had a sense of style; a certain murky, hazy Texas Chainsaw-like grit to it. Dead By Daylight Mobile, by comparison, looks really quite awful. I'll say that it holds up better in motion than it appears in the attached screenshots, but this is still a rough, ugly port.

Likewise, its wonderful monster designs are muted by low-texture models and bugged in-game lighting that either makes the ghouls appear totally flat or blindingly bright. Any sense of atmosphere that the original versions might have had has been thoroughly scrubbed away by the limitations of the mobile platform. Though, quite honestly, it's hard to believe this is the best that could have been done from a presentational perspective.

This also appears to be an older version of the game without the newest killers or maps, which is in keeping with the general lack of polish and sense that the mobile version is the least definitive way to play.

I could maybe accept the stripped-back visuals and content being necessary concessions if the controls didn't also show similar signs of this just being a flat-out iffy port. They're especially annoying when playing as the killer, where failing to snag your victim is often the result of banging into a wall or choppy animations as opposed to being genuinely outplayed or outmanoeuvred.

I spent most of the match looking over his shoulder, watching in complete amusement as he careened drunkenly around the drab map, occasionally getting a hit in through sheer dumb luck but always appearing totally sozzled. Lord only knows how ridiculous the lumbering Leatherface rip-off looked to his would-be prey.

Admittedly, we both gradually got, let's say, acclimatised to the less-than-ideal on-screen button placement and cumbersome movement, though dodgy controls don't stop being an issue just because you grow to tolerate or learn to work around them.

Everyone should be fighting to play as the big, bad monster. It's one of the few things that 2017's Friday the 13th managed to do well, with the building score and ludicrous, easy-to-use supernatural powers really selling the idea that you were this unstoppable evil.

In the case of Dead By Daylight Mobile, well, there's almost no tension to any of it, let alone moments of genuine fear. I was frustrated and annoyed after several rounds of play, though I kept going to see whether the many rotating upgrades would in some way improve things.

And yet, despite all I've said, I'm hopeful that Dead By Daylight Mobile can gradually be salvaged. The PC version in particular, though flawed, has a dedicated playerbase for a reason, and the developer has proved that it can keep the formula fresh with new characters, including Freddy Krueger, Ghost Face, and that gross pig thing from Saw.

Dead by Daylight pits a team of four survivors against a lone killer, and has attracted attention for its fast-paced gameplay and combination of original content and established horror IPs. The new competition, exclusively for players of the mobile version, is accessible to players worldwide with no restrictions on space or time zones, and sees players compete for a share of the $29,700 prize pool, including a top prize of $4000.

Dead by Daylight has become a multi-platform hit since its initial release in 2016, sparking collaborations with established horror franchises such as Stranger Things, Hellraiser, and Resident Evil. However, although the game has been the subject of numerous esports tournaments, this marks the first time that such a tournament has been hosted directly within the game.

Most recently, the Next Era of Horror update saw the mobile debut of Ringu villain Sadako, as well as seasonal leaderboards and a dedicated in-game chat client, neither of which are available outside of mobile, and a new relic system which shakes up the gameplay.

In Dead by Daylight Mobile, four players take on the role of Survivors as they evade the fifth player, who is the Killer. The Survivors must work as a team to succeed, as they hide from the Killer and use their unique abilities to escape a grisly fate. The Killer must use their supernatural abilities to track down the Survivors and take them out, one by one.

The Dead by Daylight Mobile community will soon find more ways to connect and communicate with each other than ever before. The update introduces a new set of social features that will bring players together. These include the long-awaited pre-game lobby, which will allow Survivors to communicate with each other and for Killers to make last-minute changes before the Trial begins. Players will also be able to chat in the private and global channels, as well as the in-game lobby after each Trial.
