Dr. Diab is a board-certified ophthalmologist, practicing comprehensive ophthalmology in Northwest Indiana since 2004. She has performed thousands of cataract surgeries during that time, and also performs laser treatments and micro invasive glaucoma surgery. In addition to cataracts and glaucoma, her scope of practice includes diabetic eye disease, acute injuries & infections, eyelid lesions, dry eye, and much more.
Prior to coming to Helix Eye Care in 2020, Dr. Diab worked at the Franciscan Hammond Clinic. She has been a lifelong resident of the Midwest. She attended undergraduate at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL; medical school at University of Illinois at Chicago; internship at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL; and finally residency at Case Western Reserve / University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH.
