Thanks for reading, and for telling me you liked it. I'm into the
stage of posting my depressing poetry now, but this is a new one I
just wrote. (My first actual new poem since July, though I've been
revising ed the older ones I'm posting, sometimes a little, sometimes
a lot.)
I was feelng nostalgic (autumn always gets me that way), so I was
thinking 'falls' as in drops and dies like the leaves. But if someone
gets the idea it means 'drops down on you' unexpectedly, that'd be OK
with me. While I think the poet should have and try to communicate a
meaning, I don't think that the poet can dictate the definitive
meaning of the poem.
