Dear Poetry Lovers Near and Far,

The Twentieth Anniversary Benicia Love Poetry Contest is here!

This is a favorite activity of many of you, partly because of the classic subject matter of love, partly because of the money prizes and other forms of recognition for the winners and honorable mentions, partly because of the commentary afforded by our team of 3 nationally recognized judges, and partly because of the open mic component where everyone who entered is invited to share one of their love-ly poems on our Zoom celebration!

I hope you will consider participating!  Please read and save the guidelines below.  All types of love are appropriate - romantic, family, brotherly, parental, platonic, love of pets, country, etc.
