Dear Poetry Lovers,

Here are the details on our special event for National Poetry month - a gathering of poets from around the area - poet laureates, youth, seasoned writers and new enthusiasts - all reading their favorites! Some may have won prizes or been published showing the breadth of appreciation of poetry; others are the polished favorites of the poets’ unique passions. Come and partake of the sweet treats on the tables and from the podium!  See the flyer below.

And speaking of sweet treats, don’t forget to tune into our ZOOM workshop on Tuesday, March 19, at 6:30 pm PDT for Louise Moises’ “Make Your Spoken Poetry Zing!”  Louise has formal training in Theatre Arts and Oral Literary Presentation. She is an award winning and published poet who is sought after on the open mic circuit due to her finely honed skills. She will share her techniques and experiences with the audience, give time for participants to  practice on a short poem of their own, and offer gentle guidance after each individual reading!
