NEWS!

I've blasted you with lots of emails in the last few days, this is my last for this week :-) enjoy!

Thank you!!! - If you are anything like me, there are days that I barely get out of bed, weighed down by all that is alarming in the world and in my community and how helpless I sometimes feel. There are days when I feel I have tumbled half way down the mountain and looking at the peak so far above me I wonder if I have the stamina to keep climbing.  The week before this one was punctuated with a number of wins and good fortune.  This past week was a myriad of breakdowns and disappointments, until today, when so many of you showed up in support of the gallery, to celebrate two years, to be in community with one another and with me, and I feel blessed, grateful, humbled, honored, but most of all I feel a part of something with all of you, a shared spirit, a shared love of the arts, and a shared believe in bringing beauty as best we can to each day, a cause for celebration.  Thank you for a grand gathering today, thank you to Tim O'Neil, the First Selectman of Southbury for coming out and showing his support for us and for the arts in Southbury.  Thank you to Kelly Keenan, director of the Southbury Arts and Culture Alliance for your partnership and just being the incredible light in the world that you are.  Thank you to Annie Grilli for your musical gifts and for sharing them with us today.  And thank you to each of you for being there and making this day magical.
