SLOC Musical Theater is proud to present the final show of their 99th season, American Idiot.  With book by Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer, and music by Green Day, American Idiot is a high-energy rock musical that follows a group of young friends as they navigate the uncertainty, disillusionment, and upheaval of post-9/11 American. Driven by the iconic music of Green Day, the story traces their journeys from small-town frustration to the chaotic pull of the city, exploring identity, addiction, love, and the search for purpose in a rapidly changing world.

American Idiot stars Matthew Joseph as Johnny, Benjamin Hogan as Will, Justin Nadal as Tunny, Mcayla Humphrey as Heather, Adrienne Parker as Whatshername, and Kevin Miner as St. Jimmy, along with a powerful ensemble. The show is produced through the collaborative effort of Directors Michaela Torres & Michael Camelo, Music Director James Alexander, Choreographers Mahogany Akita & Mani Velvet McCalmon, Producer Sara Fredericks, and Stage Managers Haley Kastler & Ella Mboma.

Please Note:  This production is for mature audiences due to heavy/adult themes including, but not limited to, drug use, profanity, sexual situations, and scenes of war.
