Paul Horton Amidon FEATURED AT PINE HOLLOW ARBORETUM OPEN MIC Friday November 11, 2022
As our Featured Poet Paul Horton Amidon has participated in many group readings, open mics and tabletop discussions through-out the Albany Region’s welcoming literary event universe. He enjoys presenting his work at Pine Hollow Arboretum and has told us this is the first time he has agreed to be the featured poet (although he has been asked before). Paul will share approximately 20 Minutes of poems from old and new work. His new book RELATIVES and other characters belongs to a sort of Will Rodgers, Woody Guthrie, Andy Rooney vibe. In RELATIVES and his other works, he writes poetry in short semi- biological pieces, commenting on the human conditions and using factual observations to help save local landscapes and people from “the dust bins of history”.
