Friends,
Michael Ansara went to his first protests as a rebellious teen in the 1960s and didn't stop. After the Civil Rights and Anti-War movements reached their feverish crescendos, he want on to direct Mass Fair Share as a community organizer. "The Hard Work of Hope," his memoir, has much to share. What works? What doesn't? After our rallies, after our FB posts, what should we do next? He'll join us for a conversation Thursday, December 4th at Inquiring Minds in Saugerties hosted by the local Indivisible chapter.
He also co-founded Mass Poetry in 2008. I haven't met him yet, but I certainly do admire him!
Please join us!
Best wishes,
Will
