Dear friends,
Have you got a story you've been itching to tell? Or do you just want to be enveloped by a friendly community that tells the stories that get us through and make us love each other again?
Come to our storytelling open mic at Caffe Lena this Tuesday, June 2nd. Kate Dudding is our featured teller for the first half hour, then the rest of the night is open with eight ten-minute slots.
Kate writes: "I will be sharing 3 humorous stories on Tuesday: a folktale, a story about Julia Child, and a personal story. I've been focusing on humorous stories this year since they give us all a respite from our troubling times. Besides, children laugh 40 times more a day than adults, so I'm trying to increase everyone's laughing average."
