Dear Poets:
The next Saratoga Senior Center Poetry Open Mic will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, July 10th.
The good news is: the Senior Center is air conditioned!
Below is the prompt for July, as well as for the rest of the year.
July 10 Write a poem that includes the words “firefly” and “anger.”August 14 Write a poem about a dream or nightmare that you had.September 11 Write a poem about where you were on September 11, 2001.October 9 Write a haiku or haibun in honor of someone who has passed away.November 13 Write a list poem to thank someone.December 11 Write a poem about the best gift you ever received.
