Greetings, Poetry Lovers,

As National Poetry Month nears its close, I'll be participating in two events this weekend:

Saturday, April 25, 2 pm, Caffe Lena, 47 Phila Street, Saratoga Springs: Poetry Open Mic/Laureate Poetry Series: LAUREATES POETRY READING featuring ADONIS RICHARDS and JAY ROGOFF. The poets laureate of Schenectady and Saratoga Springs read from their work to celebrate National Poetry Month in a special matinee session of Carol Graser’s famous open mic. Bring a poem to share! Doors open 1:30 pm, with program beginning promptly at 2.

$5 donation requested at the door.

Sunday, April 26, 4 pm, Pat’s Salon, Saratoga Springs: POETRY READING by JOE BRUCHAC, MARILYN McCABE, & JAY ROGOFF, with Music by JOEL BROWN. Poetry by three prize-winning poets and music by Saratoga’s premier guitarist in the city's most intimate salon atmosphere. Doors open 4 pm; program begins at 5.
