Come celebrate National Poetry Month through the power & beauty of poetry at this free event in the Laureate Poetry Series in the Saratoga Springs Public Library's Dutcher Coimmunity Room. Pick a favorite poem you'd like to share with everyone, come read it aloud, and say a few words about why you love it.

Please observe the following guidelines:

• Email me at jro...@skidmore.edu with the poet's name & poem title by March 31.
• Select a published poem that has appeared in a book or anthology.
• Please do not read your own work.
• Keep your reading & comments to a maximum of 5 minutes.
• Practice reading your poem aloud & check word meanings & pronunciations.
• If you prefer not to read, please come to listen!

Feel free to share this invitation with others, and bring your family and friends. And iff you teach, encourage your students to come read a poem they love!
