Friends,

Please join us for an Overlook Mountain Poetry Hike. We'll hear some poems from Guy Reed and Richard Parisio, learn some natural history (Rich is a retired DEC naturalist), consider the sad story of the hotel ruins (my obsession), and meet the head fire tower volunteer at the summit for snacks and further stories.

(If it has happened on Overlook, he has probably seen it.)

I hope to see you on the trail!

~Will

Step off the trail, step up to the mic!

Join us at the Poetry Barn as we once again celebrate our two new collections: Time Under The Overlook by Guy Reed and Trailside Register by Richard Parisio.

Each poet will share a 15-minute reading, followed by a community open mic (3 minutes per person).

Whether you’re reading or just listening, you’ll be part of a great autumn afternoon of poetry.

📅 Sunday, September 28, 2–4 PM 📍 The Poetry Barn 1693 State Route 28A West Hurley, NY 12491

Bring a friend—or just bring yourself. All are welcome! ⬇️
