RETURN OF THE LOST SON: MEMORIES OF A WAYWARD FATHER, with Jay Rogoff.
Gonzales's absorbingly written book seeks to understand the life of his mysterious father, who abandoned his Latino heritage and strove to make his life a work of art. Trying to reconstruct this elusive biography before the
early onset of Alzheimer's disease, the author makes startling discoveries about his father, his family, and himself.
