Reminder: Poetic License Reception, Reading & Open Mic

The Poetic License exhibit is open to the public to November 16, 2025, during the regular hours of Honest Weight Food Co-op 100 Watervliet Ave., Albany, NY. 

Join us for a special reception on Friday, November 7, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, where guests can view the exhibit, meet the artists and poets behind the exhibit, and enjoy refreshments provided by the Co-op. 

The reception will include a poetry reading featuring the poets whose work inspired the visual pieces. This event will give attendees a chance to hear the original poems that sparked the artistic responses and share their own creative works. The reading will include an open mic for other writers who do not have poems in the exhibit. Sign-up during the reception, with the reading starting at 7:00PM.
