Geotags, or custom markers, can be dropped at locations on routes and be later selected to find clips efficiently. These markers will show up on the map or in a list view and double clicking the marker will instantly take you to that point in the route.
Your driving data is displayed in active 2D graphs. The charts display different metrics, such as speed and distance for the entire route. You can click in a graph to jump to that exact moment in the video sequence.
Dashcam Viewer allows for beautiful, once in a lifetime experiences to be captured and saved forever. GPS tracking allows you to find those moments to cherish and saves time through easy navigation. Data visualization also gives you the experience all over again through real time data metrics of your trip.
Routes can be mapped out so that Uber and Lyft drivers may determine the most efficient ones for different areas. Dashcam Viewer also allows for pinpointing locations on maps so that hotspots for pickups can be easily found. Video evidence gives drivers protection and security in unexpected situations so that they may feel more comfortable.

However, your BlackVue will still record GPS data locally (on the microSD card).

The vehicle must be in the PARK setting to access the viewer. A camera icon will be available on the dash screen. Touching the icon will start the player and bring up a list of both Sentry Mode footage and Dashcam clips. This allows owners to view clips within the vehicle, an improvement from the past system of watching videos recorded by the car. The old system was comprised of either watching the clips that were stored on a USB drive or internal hard drive on a computer or buying third party products that allowed for viewing on a smartphone.
