The Gift

A gift to me is everything I would ever want to own. 

It could be anything from a flower to a comb.

Life itself is a gift and I am sure you will agree,

That death too is a gift, for we know it was meant to be.

You give a gift to someone with the blessing of your heart,

For a gift without meaning will tear your soul apart.

I give a gift to anyone  who will always see life through,

And will never give up , but just in case you do;

Remember what I told you and never let things get you down,

Just take a deep breath and look away from the ground.

Look up into the sky and as you look above,

You will know that my gift can only be Love.
