Indeed William, Thank you!
I am descended from Stephen Poe of the estate being settled in these
references below. His son listed as Samuel Poe of GA was my
gggrandfather and I live about 7 miles from his homeplace in Chattooga
Co., GA where he moved from Franklin Co., GA. I live on the homeplace
of his youngest granddaughter, Alfredetta Poe Sims (daughter of Alfred
W. Poe).

I know of no descendants of Stephen's other children but would like to
learn of them. I am willing to share my info.
