H'lo dear Poe fiends

 

My volunteer tax duties are essentially complete so  I am back to Poe genealogy research.  In 1942-43 Mrs Louis H Wagner ( Lillian May Poe granddaughter of Capt Jacob Poe) and Ellis Baily Hawkins corresponded exchanging Poe information.  I have attached one letter for your review.  If you can decipher the handwriting, you will find many names and much information.

 

There are approx 43 ltrs from EB Hawkins with his responses to Lillian M Poe's info.  I have no letters written my Lillian M Poe.  Nor have I been able to find Ellis B Hawkins in New Castle, PA via the local historical society.
