I haven't personally researched this branch of the Poe family but I did find the following information tonight.

Rock & Ghrist Family Tree / Owner: dixiefaith13

According to this site Oliver Poe 1827 - 1899 married Susan McAfee 1835 – 1920.  He was the son of George Jacob, III Poe & Catherine Ziegler.

Obituary of George Poe
Found in the Herald and Torch Light Hagerstown, Md Wed March 3, 1869

Death of aged and well known citizens.  Under our Obituary head there will be found notices of the death of George Poe and William Towson, Esqrs., the former having died at his residence in Leitersburg, on the 14th ult., after a protracted illness, in the 78th year of his age, ........ These gentlemen were for many years prominent and influential citizens of our County, taking much part in our public local affairs, and belonging to a class of men whose integrity, in all relations of life, was far above suspicion, but who alas are rapidly passing away to the silent land.  From a Correspondent we learn that Mr. Poe's remains were interred in the buring ground attached to the Lutheran Church, of Leitersburg, followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of relatives and friends who assembled to pay them a last tribute of respect.  Mr. P. was a consistent member of the Tunker Church, to which he attached himself some years since, and died with the full of hope of gaining that blissful inheritance, prepared for those who do the will of their Heavenly Father.
