Monitoringwill help you spot issues in advance and respond to incidents quickly. This article describes the primary monitoring tools you need to monitor all aspects of your Heroku apps and instructions on how to use them most effectively.

Heroku Enterprise customers with Premier or Signature Success Plans can request in-depth guidance on this topic from the Customer Solutions Architecture (CSA) team. Learn more about Expert Coaching Sessions here or contact your Salesforce account executive.

Logging tools collect and store your Heroku app and database logs. During an incident, you can use logs to help identify what is happening and narrow down a fix. After an incident, you can refer to logs in your root cause analysis.

If you have an existing logging tool that is not a Heroku add-on, you can set up a log drain to send logs to that tool. If you use Heroku Shield, you can use Private Space Logging to drain all logs from a Space to an outside tool.

Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools show details about app performance, helping identify parts of your app that may be causing slowness. Use data from an APM tool to guide your performance efforts and optimize slow endpoints.

Platform monitoring tools capture dyno metrics, Postgres metrics, Redis metrics, and router metrics from the Heroku platform, and present them in visual dashboards. You can use these tools to surface issues such as a dyno running out of memory or a rapid increase in database load.

Heroku threshold alerting notifies you when error rate or response time gets too high. Generally, Heroku recommends response times of 500ms or less. Threshold alerting provides near-real-time notice of a performance issue, so you can resolve it before it causes downtime.

You will receive notifications via e-mail if you are a collaborator on an app or admin on the team containing the app. To manage Heroku Connect alerts, go to Settings -> Manage Connection -> Access in the Connect dashboard.

Heroku Status provides updates on platform incidents and maintenance events. Maintenance alerts allow your team to prepare in advance. Incident alerts inform your team of issues that may impact your app, database, or Heroku tooling.

Hey everyone just wanted to give you a reminder that we are already tuning these edge 19 ST. Are customers so far are extremely happy with the tune. Now if any one has any questions message me or call me at 313-561-5500 my name is Jake. Thanks

What kind of Boost is it running now with the tune? I come from a tuned Focus ST so I am curious what this can safely do. I assume this engine is great when you get a solid boost that is not under so much control of the ECU to hit the torque targets Ford sets. If the boost gauge is anywhere near accurate boost is all up and down all the time as the ECU tries to keep in it range. I assume it would be nice and steady with a tune. Build and drop like it should if not under such tight control. That Focus used to just high a nice peak and then wind down as the turbo ran out of juice. I can only imagine what a tuned 2.7 would feel like. Looks good.

Awesome passes man I'm glad we were able to shave a whole second just from a tune. No one has made any passes with our tune in the ST edge yet but we are excited to see what it will do. Thanks everyone and let me know if any questions I can help you with.

If you returned your 2016 to stock and still have your MyCalibrator you should be good for up to 5 vehicles. You can email them the serial number of your tuner and the ECU/ Strategy codes from your new vehicle and they will upload the new corresponding tunes for you.

Coincidentally I just got an email from Livernois and they told me that the older Mycalibrator does not work on my 2019 Edge ST and that they will give me $100 credit towards their new tuner if i mail my old one to them... I hope they aren't trying to con me into a new one just to make a sale...

After a couple thousand miles I did their tune and am happy with the results. I am looking forward to updates when they are available, I would think, in a few months. I have their 91 & 93 tunes, but use the 93 in my State, but have the 91 tune for travels in areas that 93 is not as available. I have contacted them a couple of times and have always had a great experience working with them.

Which version of the MyCal do you have? I think there are three in all. The original was a touchscreen, v2 was no touchscreen, and v3 is their latest, friendlier, more powerful interface. So if you have a v2, it is definitely a good idea to upgrade to v3 anyway if you can swing it.

Hey sorry for long delay. The new ST has different software and the old device will not work on it. You can trade in your old device for a credit. Just give me a call or message me back and I can work you up a deal for an old device even if its not one of ours. Thanks everyone

I would get a dyno tune if you are adding allot of extra parts to it. Doing data logs back and forth, and high speed runs on back roads work but would be allot faster and safer to have the car on rollers.

Over 400 ft lbs not far off idle... I personally have never experienced a piston engined power band of that magnitude. Now that I think about it I did in 22' Hallet Day cruiser with a supercharged 454 attached to a TH400 and a V drive. That was noisy fun. I would pay to passenger in a car as capable as this will reside in. And it will get decent gas mileage, and it will last (sans essentials disaster). GM pushrod motors are amazing feats of engineering and packaging.

I know that we're comparing engine dyno numbers vs. chassis dyno numbers, but I want to say that back in the day my 1.6L Miata--with a built head, bolt-ons and tuning--made like 115 horsepower at the wheels....

Welcome to the third edition of the "I Asked ChatGPT" series, where I ask ChatGPT my most burning residence life questions or inquiries. This week, I was thinking about how to use AI to increase our efficiency in residence life, and connecting that with my current and previous student and work experiences.

Two things that I've used in my previous experiences include using Trello and Discord for task management. But, what if we integrated Trello and Discord to manage a residence hall as residence directors?

Integrating Trello and Discord into your work as a college residence hall director can enhance communication, organization, and collaboration among your team of RAs. Here's how you can use both platforms effectively:

Trello for Task Management:Create boards for different aspects of your work such as "Weekly Tasks," "Programming Ideas," "Maintenance Requests," etc. Within each board, create lists for different stages of tasks or projects (e.g., To-Do, In Progress, Completed). Assign tasks to specific RAs by creating cards for each task and assigning them to respective RAs.Utilize labels for categorizing tasks by priority or type (e.g., urgent, programming, maintenance). Use due dates to set deadlines and keep track of timelines. Encourage RAs to use Trello to update the status of their tasks regularly. Discord for Real-Time Communication:Set up a Discord server for your residence hall staff. Create channels for different topics or purposes such as "General," "Announcements," "Programming Ideas," "Maintenance," etc. Use voice channels for team meetings, check-ins, or casual discussions. Integrate bots for automating certain tasks or providing information (e.g., scheduling bot, reminder bot). Encourage RAs to use Discord as their primary communication platform for quick questions, updates, or discussions. Utilize Discord's mobile app for on-the-go communication and accessibility. Integration between Trello and Discord:Utilize Trello's integration with Discord to receive notifications in your Discord server when changes occur on Trello boards. Set up notifications for new cards, card movements, due date reminders, etc., to keep everyone informed without needing to switch between platforms constantly. Encourage RAs to link their Trello accounts with Discord so they can receive notifications directly related to tasks assigned to them.

1. Carl-bot: Carl-bot is a multifunctional bot that includes features for scheduling and reminders. It allows you to set reminders for specific times or dates and will send notifications to designated channels or users at the scheduled times.
