I have a new student who just started last week. This is his 3rd
school this year and only knows 3 letter sounds, 5 caps, and 3 lower
case letters. Since I don't have an extra iPod, I decided to burn the
ABC, high frequency words and poem on a CD. I call it "Take Your
Teacher Home." His mom was excited to get and thinks he will love
playing it on his CD player and doing the activities. I'm starting
him on week one and we'll see what happens!
