Sorry I've been overly busy the past 2 months working on building
projects. I've missed the last two (2) live TownHall Meetings - but
have listened to parts of them. I really want to get going with this
- but I'm just so in need of getting $$ coming across the transom that
I don't have time. I have one of the "I am a Stringer" ads on my
net500.com site and I've 'pumped-it' in a couple of seminars I've
given over the last few weeks. I will be pushing it more in new blogs
I'll be publishing in the upcoming weeks as well.

I just feel like I'm too scattered right now to be too, effective.
But I am promoting the blog and concept at each corner I can.

Hopefully, by the end of this month or August, I'll have a more steady
foothold and income and be more effective as my part of this program.

I am really glad to be a part of this effort. I still feel it's a
very important idea and concept and that it will take hold soon.

Say .. did any of you read this article in the recent WIRED magazine
(July 2007,p.054): This is CNN?! (could not find a link on the WIRED
site for this piece. Get a copy of the mag and read it. I may scan
and put it in the 'Files' section) and .. the opening header on the
Online Edition: "Media Open-Source Journalism: It's a Lot Tougher Than
You Think" (http://www.wired.com/techbiz/media/news/2007/07/
view_from_crowds) ... WOW... some food for thought there ..eh?

Thanks again for the opportunity. Talk w/you all later.

FYI ...

I just received an email from the folks as Assignment Zero and noticed
that the article in WIRED, I referenced below, was one of the pieces
that their 'volunteer' journalists produced. There are four such
pieces in this weeks WIRED online.

I don't know how many, if any, of the PodCorps group is involved in
Assignment Zero (I'm a member of AZ - but too busy to get involved
there as well.) Very good work by those involved.
