Hey gang, I know its cool that we get to play podsafe music for free,
but I hear many artists saying, "how can I get compensated?" I for one
want to help them more than what is done currently and believe you do
too. We just made it real easy to help them. Here's a link to our new
Free Podsafe Creation Software,

http://podcastspots.com/PodcastSPOTS_Filler_2_0.msi

and you can see screenshots here ...
http://podcastspots.com/Free-Podcast-Creation-Software.aspx

The tool lets you, well, let me let you read what I wrote for our
SnapFiles submission ...

Record a 40 minute podcast in 5 minutes.

Create free music playlists or select an existing one from
PodcastSPOTS' podsafe music database and have it automatically inserted
into a podcast MP3 file or use one of the included template podcast mp3
files (ie myFirstPodcast.mp3)

Shows you the name and order of songs and artist sponsors that will be
inserted in your podcast and lets you record segways inbetween songs.
It comes with many canned effects you can play during your podcast
segways and have loop. Effects include, applause, drumroll, sick
guitars, animal sounds and lots more.

PodcastSPOTS free podcast creation software also lets you insert
pre-recorded mp3s or wav files in between songs in your playlist. You
can also position the location the playlist will be inserted.

A goal of this software is to help podcasters support podsafe music -
allowing the artists they play to earn money through sponsors and
listener downloads.

Once a playlist is inserted in a podcast, the podcaster can put our
Giant iPod Plugin on their site and it is automatically filled with the
list of songs the podcaster inserted in their shows.

A listener can then, after hearing a song on a podcast - go to the
podcasters site - see the Giant iPod, click the song title they heard
and buy a high quality version, read the scrolling lyrics, or visit a
sponsor, thus supporting the artist.

The artist has the option to share revenue with the podcaster and most
are sharing 30%. We are integrating Podsafe Audios music database and
there will be over 500 podsafe songs to choose from shortly for making
custom playlists to insert in your podcasts.

The system also allows easy cross-promotion of your podcast, as you can
check a box that lets a random podcaster-promo be inserted in your
show, and you can have your own promo added to the system for other
podcasters to include in their shows similarly.

Our podcast creation software is totally free, no nags, no spyware, no
upgrade fees, its fully functional.

Please send feedback to con...@PodcastSPOTS.com

Thanks

I am creating a prominent early adopters section of
the PodcastSPOTS site that will permanently showcase
the first 10 or so adopters. If you want some free
promotion, here's an opportunity. Slots are already
begin taken, so don't wait if you want this.

Email me at mwka...@yahoo.com after you have the
Giant iPod on your site and did a playlist insert and
provide me with a link to it.

nice to see that podsafe is something like creative commons....new words, always nice. i like the expression of the artists, saying
it's gema, ascap free and under a creative commons license.

http://en.podcast.starfrosch.ch (yes, we're podsafe too, even if i like more the creative commons license, because it's more flexible)

Over 150 songs were added to PodcastSPOTS system over
the weekend thanks to great effort by Justin at
PodsafeAudio.com

Now podcasters can create playlists from a wide array
of songs and automatically insert them in shows using
PodcastSPOTS Free Podcast Creation Software.

The songs are then made available for sale through a
plugin on the podcasters site, whereat the artist
earns up to 85% of the revenue from digital downloads.
Most artists are sharing 30% of their revenue with
the podcaster that played their songs.

In less than 5 minutes, a podcaster can create a 40
minute podcast complete with songs they like, segways
and cool effects between songs. Check it out! Create
a playlist here:

http://podcastspots.com/CreatePodSafeMusicPlaylist.aspx

When you click Add to Playlist - it fills a playlist
box on the bottom left which you can then sort and
save

Now, is that playing nice Markus? You can read the
terms of service from the links on our site. You
should find what you are looking for there.

Should we take turns bashing each other?

why should i be nice and happy all the day? i care about the interests of the artists. i am worried about the situation and
use of the word "podsafe", because i haven't seen yet an international definition of the word "podsafe".
