iTunes and redirected content

I'm curious if anyone else has had the problem of iTunes thinking that
a feed that links to an mp3 file that has been redirected is actually
the feed file itself?

This started in January. Our host redirects to a www3 server. When our
feed links to an mp3, iTunes wants to download the feed xml content
from the redirected mp3 file instead of our xml feed file.

This was supposed to be fixed but I'm afraid to try directing our feed
back to the old server as we lost about 2/3 of our audience.

We moved audio files to another server but can't leave them there
forever.

Check for syntax errorrs in your HTML embedded in the XML. A friend
of mine had this (or a very similar) problem. He had a missing </a>
tag or something very hard to spot.
