Cool Jay! I look forward to watching them, but they're not playing for
me and I just u/g'd Quicktime. They stop 3 sec. into play.

That's weird Tim... what platform are you on? Anyone else having this
problem?

I'm running Win XP and FireFox. At first I thought it might've been
been because I was on FF3, but it's the same in FF2. It will play the
video on the first time in the standalone QuickTime window. The
problem appears after I pause or FF/RW, and it persists each time
thereafter, even after closing and reopening FF.

Of course, that was at home. I just tried at the office, also XP and
things seem okay. I'll keep looking for it to recur though.

Anybody else?

Thanks for the info Tim. I've heard from a few people who are having problems and it all seems a bit random so I'm not sure what's up.

Talking to Vergel Evans on Twitter, he's offering to grab the lot of videos and post them blip.tv in the next little while which would should allow a lot more people to get access. Stay tuned!

I'd be conversing on Twitter too, except the government of Ontario (my
employer) suddenly decided to block it today! Grrrr.

May I suggest to PcT presenters who may wish to do so, you can UL your
slide presentation to SlideShare. It's a cool YouTube-like website for
presentations. There appear to be some PodCamp presentations already
posted.

I also suggest using Slideshare, also, and then linking to the slides from the Media Archives page on the Podcamp Toronto wiki here:  http://podcamptoronto.pbwiki.com/MediaArchive2008

Donna Papacosta, Victoria Fenner and Wayne MacPhail led a discussion on business best practices for podcasts.  We put the notes for that session into presentation slides which I posted to Slideshare and linked to our Media Archives page.   The slides have now made the Spotlight section about Barcamps at the front of Slideshare:  http://www.slideshare.net/.  We've had over 1,400 views already.

Cheers,
Connie
