Hi All,

If any of you are from out of town, and are not an axe murderer!

There are a couple of guest suites at my condo that can be booked for
a very reasonable cost. I need to check tomorrow if they are still
available on the dates of the event, but if they are you are more than
welcome in being my guest here in Down-town Toronto.

Just drop me a line and we can work something out.

Gary

Hello Gary,

My name is Nic and I am traveling from Detroit, MI. Do you still have
spots available and, if so, at what cost?

Here is my story so you know I don't typically commit murders with
axes (or any other sharp objects for that matter):
I've recently moved to Detroit from Austin, TX in order to manage the
new branch of an real estate investment company. I am also interested
in producing a new media program for minimal techno enthusiasts --
that is one of the many reasons why I am attending this event. Please
let me know if you have any space. Thanks!

Hi Sonja:

Looks like you didn't have any answer your question yet.  Details about Podcamp Toronto are at http://podcamptoronto.org .  This is an "unconference" so it is organized differently than traditional events.  Sessions are put on by attendees.  The ones people have volunteered to put on so far are on the Sessions page:  http://podcamptoronto.pbwiki.com/PodcampTorontoSessions . Sometime next weekend a schedule will be opened up to allow the people putting on their sessions to book them into the time slots they want.  Podcamp Toronto runs Saturday, February 23 to Sunday, February 24.  Last year Saturday went from 9 am to 5:15 pm, and Sunday went from 10 am to 5:15 pm.  There also may be informal meet-ups for people having dinner or going for drinks Friday and Saturday evening.

If you are planning on attending, please add your name to the registration page:  http://podcamptoronto.pbwiki.com/PodcampTorontoRegistrants

If you are new to podcasting and want to learn how to do it from the beginning, I draw your attention to the two-day stream called "Zero to Podcasting" (or Z2P) being put on by a number of podcasting veterans:  http://podcamptoronto.pbwiki.com/Podcamp+Toronto+2008+-+Zero+to+Podcasting+Details

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Cheers,
Connie

Connie,

I am starting at ZERO.  Can I still benefit from this event?  I am very excited about attending.

Definitely!  I highly recomment "Zero to Podcasting".  They are walking through it all step by step.  I am learning from scratch myself!

Cheers,
Connie
