Hello Podcampers! Welcome to the 2013 event and congratulations on winning the PCN Session Draw. I'm Edwin Acevedo and I will be your Speaker's Butler this year. That means I'm here to answer your questions, provide support and set you up for success for the upcoming May 4th event.

Please use this group to forward questions my way and/or share questions and suggestions with your fellow speakers. No matter how simple or complex, I highly encourage you all to use this group to post questions about speaking, event logistics or to gather feedback. I would almost bet that any question you might have, others will have the same.

Already, I am checking on whether or not speakers can give away swag like T-shirts, stickers, etc. I will let everyone know the answer in this group.

Here's what you can do right now:

1. Please join this Google group as soon as you can. The link will expire in one week. I want to be sure you all receive the same communication.
2. Check your session and make sure all of the information is correct. Let me know ASAP if there is anything you'd like to change, including the hashtag.
3. If you haven't updated your profile with an image, please do this by the end of the week. Otherwise, I may update it for you with a randomly chosen image from Flickr. I am serious.
4. Panel Leaders: If you have identified your speakers, please ask them to join this group.

I expect session signup to go live this afternoon. When you get the announcement, you can start promoting the hell out of it. The room you get is largely dependent on how many people sign up for it. Did I mention that one of the largest rooms has a staffed bar? Yes. Yes, I did.
