PocketWAW V3.0.6 is now available.

Using V3.0.6 on Palm Treo 750 (WM6). Getting an error on startup:
"PocketWAW_WM5 21 An error message cannot be displayed because an
optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found"

Here are a few observations, after bit of testing, driving around NZ
for 4 weeks, with the PocketWAW 3.0.6, and maps on an SD card on my
phone. I would say there are memory problems on my Palm Treo750 when
Pocketwaw is run with Good mobile messaging (sort of like
Blackberry).
1 Pwaw would sometimes work for half a day before crashing, and
sometimes up to 3 days. I found it was safest to re-boot the Treo
every couple of days. Crash error message was usually something to do
with lack memory.
2 Took a while to work out how to get the Bluetooth GPS to reliably
connect to the Treo and PocketWAW.
3 When Pwaw was in the background, and connected to GPS, the position
was buffered until Pwaw was brought on top, then the map would
frantically show each GPS position along the route or crash.
4 Most of the time I wished there was a bar scale with the map.
5 Speed units on GPS page should be km/hr (not m/s)
6 I can forgive the GPS for the errors in Wellington where in some
places, there is only half a sky:-)
7 NZ Maps downloaded (to the SD Card) for $40, was excellent value,
and using pwaw, I could always tell my wife where we were (and she
could tell me where to go). But next trip, I will also be buying the
Hema map book, as I am old fashioned.
