PocketWAW still can't do routing, however it is possible to preplan a
route in Google Earth and load it into PocketWAW to at least give you
something to follow. It is a bit of a hack at the moment but if there
is enough interest I will make it a bit easier.

The steps are:

1. Plan your route in GoogleEarth.
2. At the bottom of the directions is a checkbox labelled "Route".
This is the path of the route (it show as a purple line on the map).
Right click on the word "Route" and then "Save As". Save the file as
kml (not kmz), for example HomeToFolks.kml.
3. Copy the kml file to the PDA and put it in the PocketWAW program
directory.
4. While you in explorer copy the file Trip.xml from the PDA to the
PC.
5. Open Trip.xml with wordpad or your favourite text editor.
6. Use one of the dummy trips (each trip is inside a <Data></Data>
block) and change the file_name to the name of your kml file
(HomeToFolks.kml) and also update the purpose.
7. Save Trip.xml and copy back to the PDA.
8. Restart PocketWAW and go to the Trip tab.
9. Find the trip you editted and "Load KML".
10. In the menu Map > Show make sure Bread Crumbs and Join Crumbs are
ticked.
11. Return to the map.

At the moment it isn't possible to be recording a trip at the same
time as viewing one but if people find this functionality useful I
will seperate the loading of kml into a menu option by itself.

Have fun and please post feedback here.
