Maximum number of results under statistics

Hi,

I would like to confirm the number of results under statistics API. 

Currently if i don't pass the 'per' parameter, it is said that default it will be set to 50. I would like to know if there is an upper limit? Is it possible to enter a large number, let's say 99999?
