Eclosure door contact

Hi everyone,

has anyone tried to add a door safety contact to the enclosure to make the machine stop if the door gets opened?

I want to use the PNC in education and we are considering to let students work on the machine by themselves after some the gathered some experience. 

The university's security manager recommended to add a door contact that makes makes the machine and spindle to stop. I found this feature on our new Stepcraft router very practical.

Hi Michel,

We've been asked this a few times and unfortunately, right now, there isn't a good way to hook up the electronics in the machine to stop when the enclosure door is opened.

Thanks for your reply Kerry. The PocketNC is great for schools and for students to work with so you may want to consider a user definable routine for the pause button.
