혹시, 예를들면 한국에서는 와이지-원 회사에서 나오는 엔드밀를 사용할 수 있을까요?

2. 그리고, 스텐인레스나 강철, 티타늄등도 가공할 수 있는 별도의 Endmill를 구매해서 가공할 수 있을까요?

3. 최대로 가공할 수 있는 가공물의 크기는 어느정도입니까?

4. 향후 PocketNC v2에 냉각수 시스템이 적용될까요?

Hello,

1. As long as the end mills fit into our ER11 collets you can use end mills from another manufacturer, this should be fine. 

2. The Pocket NC V2 can machine material up to a hardness of steel 4140. It cannot machine titanium. We do have a few users machining stainless steel and steel parts. You need to configure the feeds and speeds of the machine accordingly. 

3. Please find our work size here. It is 4.55" in X, 5.0" in Y, and 3.55" in Z.

4. Currently the machine is not sealed for coolant, our future machine will be able to use coolant.

한국분들 중에서 사용하고 계신 분이 계시군요.

저는 V2 구매해서 약 4개월정도 운영중에 있습니다. 아래 붙이 답글을 먼저 달아주셨듯... 엔드밀은 타 업체 제품 호환 사용이 가능합니다.

저 같은 경우 ER11을 인치가 아닌 미리로 추가 구매를 하였습니다.

최대 크기는 6mm입니다. 4mm/6mm 두종류를 구매한뒤, 생크4,6짜리 엔드밀 추가 구성하였습니다. 아시다시피 인치는 감이 안와서요...

툴 등록 메뉴를 사용하시면 되고, 엔드밀에 적힌 규격만으로도 충분히 등록하는데 문제가 없습니다.

주로 가공하는 품목은 ABS이나, 스펙상 금속도 가능하다고 하니 초경으로 구매를 하였습니다.

가공 사이즈는 스펙상 아래분 답글과 같으나, 실제 가공물의 형상이나 엔드밀 영점 조절 시 한계로 인하여 10센티 X 10센티를 넘어가면 둘 패스를 계속 수정해야 합니다.

My korean isn’t great but I think I get the understanding.
It’s important to use machine simulation with g-code if you need to go to two paths. That way you can maximize your efficiency or even reduce to one path if you can get a good tool length offset. Only really machine simulation can give you the confidence.

Btw there is another pocketnc owner in japan who used an oil based coolant to machine an acrylic part. It destroyed the b-axis belt. He replaced the belt for a coolant resistant belt. No problem now. Good thing is the team at PocketNC used standard parts and design specs so you can find spare parts online for some repairs if you need. I would say consumable parts are very standard.
Great work to the team at PocketNC for doing that.
