A/B table cables makes resistance to Y-axis travel

Hi, 

has anyone experienced that the cables to the A/B table are making resistance to the travel of the Y-axis? I first thought it might have been the backlash nut. But after some investigation, I now believe it is the cables that are making resistance when folded/unfolded. Apparently, just recently flat cables are used instead, I think this could help a lot. But meanwhile any tips on how to solve this?
