Community vs. Neighborhood

POCIG Members,

Can someone/or many of you assist me in locating literature that would help me in defining the difference between "Community & Neighborhood"

I am finding in the literature that the words interchangeably, without specifying one or the other. They may allude that they are different, but never define either.
