Thedriver's Parameters key can contain configuration information for your driver and can be accessed by calling WdfDriverOpenParametersRegistryKey. For Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) drivers, this key is located in the appropriate Services tree for the driver. For User-Mode Driver Framework (UMDF) drivers, this key is located in the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WUDF\Services tree, under the driver's service name. The subkey for the driver always uses the driver's service name, even if the driver binary's file name differs from the service name.
When the system calls your driver's DriverEntry routine, it passes the driver a path to the driver's key in the appropriate Services tree. Your driver must pass this path to WdfDriverCreate. Subsequently, the driver can obtain the path by calling WdfDriverGetRegistryPath.
When a driver stack informs the Plug and Play (PnP) manager that a device is connected to the system, the PnP manager creates a hardware key for the device. This key is also called a device key. Settings related to the hardware (such as interrupt settings) can be stored here by drivers.
To determine whether your driver type requires that you store information under specific registry keys, see the sections of this documentation that discuss your driver's device type by using the table of contents.

Keys Driving School is located in Grand Haven, and provides drivers training in west Michigan. Our classes are taught by the Keys Driving Team. We have each completed the State of Michigan training classes and exams to receive instructor licenses. We offer our students professional and individualized instruction with many years of combined teaching experience.
We try at all times to share our love of driving with our students. On the street, in the car, we patiently coach our students in considerate highway use. In low stress driving lessons, the students progress at their own pace with encouragement and reinforcement in developing their own responsible driving behavior.
Alright, so things were working out fine UNTIL one of the shape keys would just not work. I checked the expression with a different control object and it worked. There is nothing wrong with the expression and five of the other expressions for the shape keys work except for this one shape key in the list. I have checked and double-checked that every aspect of the control object, the shape key and the expression and everything is fine except the shape key will not work for this one specific expression (driver). Unfortunately, I cannot provide a copy of the Blend file as it is a private file and I have a total of about 145 shape keys to have working using three control objects (Empties. Oh, and the shape keys and controllers do not conflict in any way with each other, either).
After installing Intel Wireless Bluetooth for Windows 10 and Windows 11 version 22.220.1.1, both my Logitech Bluetooth devices (MX Keys and MX Anywhere) stopped functioning. I rolled back the driver to version 22.170.0.2 and both devices were functioning. Just to make sure, I repeated these installing and rolling back procedures and the same results occurred.
Thank you for the information in this case since this is a laptop we recommend using the manufacture's drivers to ensure compatibility, you can find them here ( -1690-1675-1650-Wi-Fi-Controller-Driver_XWCCG_WIN_3.1222.7103_A32_02.EXE) the ones you were installing are what we call generic drivers, we offer these drivers to all computer manufacturer, and they usually modify them to ensure compatibility with your system.
However, I don't see why this driver has anything to do my Bluetooth problems. Since I have rolled back the Intel Bluetooth driver to version 22.170.0.2 and both my MX Keys and MX Anywhere work, this apparently is my solution.
Thank you for the update. It is very likely that Windows updates already provided the latest recommended driver for your pc that is why you got the error, so I would be a good idea to only use the drivers provided by the manufacturer in your case. Are there any other questions that I can help with?

The Smith5Keys help drivers see, think and act their way through various driving environments, challenges, and changes that exist regardless of where they travel or the vehicles they operate. The Smith5Keys are designed to provide drivers with the knowledge and skills to create three important things while driving:
I'm trying to add a driver to a shape key but when I right click on the value line, the menu skips "Add Driver" and goes from "Insert Keyframe", "Clear Keyframe", to "Add to Keying Set". I have Blender 2.74. Thanks.
A Florida Highway Patrol report released Wednesday said the 23-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica heading north on U.S. 1 near mile marker 17 when she fell asleep around 2 p.m. Saturday.
The driver exited the travel lane to the right, resulting in the front right of the vehicle colliding with the first runner, according to the FHP report. The vehicle then reportedly continued north and collided with the second runner, before coming to stop on U.S. 1's right shoulder.
"Our concern is with the runners who were injured and their families. We believe that their privacy should be respected during this very difficult time. For any further discussion, I suggest that you contact the Florida Highway Patrol and the officers who conducted the investigation," the statement read.
Upon imaging a Surface Laptop 2 with our basic image from the older Surface laptop model the Surface Hid Mini Driver driver fails to power and thus the keyboard doesn't work. if I revert back to 03/27/2017 driver it works fine... but then the laptop automatically updates itself to the latest version that brakes again. I have blocked the update in WSUS.
Is anybody aware of a fix for the latest driver? Does the PC somehow think its a Surface Laptop 1st gen and somehow downloading the incorrect driver possibly? I also downloaded the latest firmware/driver package from MS and tried that version and it also doesn't work. Seems to be the same exact version that gets downloaded from Windows Update.
@WC_KStil did you ever get the specific version of the driver that works? I keep running into this issue every update cycle. I have a surface laptop 2 and the "Surface Hid Mini Driver" flakes out every update. I've tried the all of the drivers from Download Surface Laptop 2 Drivers and Firmware from Official Microsoft Download Center :
I've tried uninstalling the driver and re-installing but that never seems to work, even disabling the driver and re-enabling doesn't work. I'm not sure what happens in UEFI entry, but that seems to make it work again for me. Beware - your mileage may vary!!! This seems to be a very common issue but different tasks seem to work for different people. I sure hope Microsoft can fix this as it is a pain as it usually happens when I really need to get some work done!
Sign in and select Surface Laptop 2 and input your Surface's serial number. Click on Download and Save it to your desktop. Do not download the Recovery Image directly on the USB drive but on the Downloads folder on the computer.
@GBowlsby - this worked perfectly. Frustratingly, I'd foolishly listened to other ideas with consequences that'll now cost me even more time (somehow our AI/ML needs to intercept bad or half-arse solutions with ones that actually work :)) Regardless to my live 'en learn: Thanks!
In order to be able to export out of blender into UE using FBX 7.4 with Shape key animations rigged with Bone Drivers, you have to make sure you un-tick Apply Modifiers. Since you can not apply any modifiers to a mesh that has shape keys attached to it. So when you export and have it set to apply, all of the shape keys get erased when exported. Thus no animations or shape keys area transferred over.
What I did was I use a bone in the armature of the skeletal mesh as a driver for one of the shape keys of the mesh. In order to export the morph target curve you have to export the the mesh along with armature when exporting animations. Also Driver bones do not have to be deform bones.
yes, the shape key animation was preserved. I used non-deforming bones on the skeletal rig as the Dirvers for the shape keys, then key framed the animations. As long as you import the Mesh and the rig together, with the apply modifiers box un-ticked. everything should work without using the Blueprints in UE4. Just like a normal imported animation.
I finally fixed a problem I have been having with GPU driver in fedora for quite some time.
But I now need to sign my new fedora kernel for secure boot to keep my Nvidia proprietary drivers.
So I followed the rpm fusion tutorial for signing the key, but the directory and key does not exist on my laptop! I am very new to secure boot and key, and have no clue what to do. SO if you have a answer, which I hope someone does, please talk to me like a beginner. Thanks!
