Hello all! I wanted to pass along this message from the Hillsboro
Library Friends. They are sponsoring an event on Earth Day (next
Thursday April 22nd) where David and I will give a brief presentation
on the work of the task force. Hope to see you there,
Lynmarie

In conjunction with Earth Day 2010, the Hillsboro Library Friends will
sponsor a “Public Affairs Briefing on the Environment” on Thursday
April 22 at the Hillsboro Library. The theme of this year's Briefing
is “The Future of Our Water – The Liquid of Life.”

Leslee McCarty, a Lobbyist for the West Virginia Environmental
Council, will provide a summary of water-related legislative
activities that occurred at the State House this past session. Frank
Gifford, the new Community Relations Specialist with the Greenbrier
River Watershed Association, will present the current issues on which
this organization is focusing. David Fleming, Pocahontas County
Commissioner, and Lynmarie Knight, Water Resources Task Force VISTA,
will describe the work being done by the Pocahontas County Water
Resources Task Force.

The event will start at 6:30 p.m with light refreshments provided by
the Hillsboro CEOS club. The presentations will begin at 7:00 p.m. The
event is free and open to the public.

Thanks Lynmarie,

I will try and come. I had sinus surgery Monday, and it is a much bigger
deal than I expected.
