Most library eBooks checked out from Overdrive can be read on a Kindle. At this time, Cloud Library eBooks are not compatible with e-ink Kindles, though they do work with the Kindle Fire tablets. Instructions on how to get started with Overdrive on Kindle eReaders can be found here.

All you need to do is install the free reader software and then use your library card number to access all your favorite titles. Titles automatically expire, so there are no last minute trips to the Library or late fees. Plus, you can listen from the convenience of home, work or anywhere you take your portable device. Using your library card is easier than ever at RPL!
The first time you open the program, you will need to choose SC as your state, Richland Library as your library, and enter your Richland Library Card Number.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not already installed and registered, or 3M Cloud Library does not detect your Adobe ID, it will give you two options: Use a 3M Cloud ID (no sign-in required, other than your library card) or enter an Adobe ID and Password.
