Please be advised that Millie from Oceania Sports Education is here in Palau and has completed
the first training for Beginning Coaches in the Community and now conducting the Beginning
Administration of Sports. The training is very successful with participants from sports, PE
teachers, community sports organizers and States representatives.
As part of the pathway for sports education, we have our Palau NOC session with our stakeholders
(Board Members, National Federations Representative, MCCA, MOH, MOE, Youth organization and
others) on Saturday, June 4th from 9am to 3pm to discuss the final Palau Sports Education
Framework through the resources of Oceania Sports Education Program. In this respect, this is
to remind everyone and encourage everyone to take participation in this important session to
provide participation and leadership in establishing the framework for Palau Sports Education.
NOTE: would it be possible to have Uchel and Tobi attend the session if they are available, and
the PNYC President and Officers. This session will contribute to the implementation of youth
policy at the community level through physical activity. It will be beneficial to have their
participation and contribution.
Your participation is vital to this program to work and thank you for your commitment and
support.
Please confirm with Marcy your attendance on Saturday June 4th from 9am to 3pm. Venue is PCC,
CE Training Center Classroom. The room directly across the street from Mobil.
